i have a 1990 s13 hatchback and the other day i noticed my high beam light came on. this was at night while driving with my headlights on. i flicked the head light control from regular to high beams a couple of times and it turned off. a few days later, i go out to my car and the battery is dead. i jump start it and i notice that the high beam light is on and so are the headlights while the headlights are in the closed off position. but the light coming from the headlights is very dim. i checked all the fuses in both fuse boxes(interior and engine bay) and all were fine except the 75a alternator fuse( which i know is only available through nissan for $22!!!!) i replace that and still have have the problem. has this happend to anyone else? any help would be greatly appriciated.

Sound to me like your headlight switch is bad. You will need to start trouble shooting with a multi tester. Start at the switch and see if it is sending power. Some thing is sending power to the one light if not the switch then you have a short somewhere.

Good luck
