cruise control n reverse lights

sup guys
im having problems with my cruise control and reverse lights...both dont work. but the lights for cruise control work fine. when i set it to cruise, the lights on the dash go on as usual but the car doesnt cruise. and my reverse lights dont light up when in reverse. light bulbs are new and the fuse is good.
BUT on the bottom of the car near the tranny theres a plug which seems to have a cover but kinda looks like the connection was broken?...i tried looking for the other end but couldnt find anything.
so im wondering if those two are somehow related, connection wise, so that ill look more into that loose connection to get my cruise control n reverse lights working...

if you have an sr swap like you name implies, then the cruse might not have installed check for an extra cable conning forn the throttle body to a curcular(sp) thing - thats the cc

as for the reverse lights, the shifter might not be triggering the lights - again, when they did the swap like your name implies, it might be they dident hook it up

ok first off...the swap is on its way......

so that means its stil the ka...without cruise or reverse.....anyone know <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>/

Hey I have one of my sensor wires broken on my tranny, and my reverse lights do not work. &nbsp;I've been too busy to connected it back up, but my cruise does work. &nbsp;Now sometimes the cruise will not turn on, but thats a different story.
