I'm wondering how you guys with small batteries in the stock location, so you can run your fmic piping, are mounting your batteries? Does the stock tie down work or did you purchase something else?

I am at that stage myself with our track car. I plan to relocate the battery to the trunk ,build a secure cage for it, and moving to a smaller one at that. Since you are upgrading, it is a good time to get that battery behind the front axles and as low as possible. Whatever its size.

Man..... LOOK AT IT!
Then come back and SEARCH. And if you haven't figured it out by then.... You have no hope.
turn the battery sideways, drill holes for the hooks. make a completly new tie bar. I found one at the local junk yard, drilled out the spot weld. welded it to the size of my batter. grind it down, drill, paint, etc. the new tie bar now looks OEM.

the tie bar was probably off a kia, toyota, or honda. it was also 5 inches longer.

just mount the stock one in the back, thats what I did, you can mount it in the pass side corner and still have access to your spare tire well, better balance too;)
