nice blue color but the stripe/decal on there looks pretty bad.

also, is the interior/trim painted white? that looks pretty tacky too.

the color is really nice, but the black strip gets to me... the already tired and common look a black roof top would have went better than that black strip.

the bumper is sagging a bit and the hood needs alignment... but overall I like it, not too bad.

I don't like the black highlights, and I realy don't like the incredibly oversized pictures. Judging by the paint scheme on this car, and your plans for the 240,I'd say you are interested in show cars, in which case you will not likely find much support from Zilvia.net. Good luck though, and welcome to Zilvia.

very nice job on the paint though....

actually its painted heres a pic to clarify. Also its not done I slapped it together just to get some picturesof my work in hi res for thos who were intrested. Also I am not actually intrested in show that much, the car's interior has been stripped completely the pieces were painted silver but will soon all be remade from carbon with modifications to hold extra gauges and what nto and clean up the look. The style of the car was done simply to attract customers, the car was actaully goign to be white before hand but then decided to to follow through with the original plan. The car is set up for Auto X and track events. Its sitting on a set of Tein HT (tarmac racing suspension) struts and has plenty more coming for the suspension. Might even have to spend 940 dollars to have em revalved and to get softer springs. The car is currently sitting on uber stiff 18 kg springs.

picture of the stripe up close. and HT struts

you can see the blue candy and pearl in the black stripe it self.

BTW, I'm only 19 and I rebuilt this entire car from the ground up with my own 2 hands.

its also not a cwest kit but it was a set of apex side skirts

my bad.. i just asumed.... it remindeds me of the c-west...

this local shop molds body kits here and iv seen them mess up alot of good looking cars... ever since i cant stand it because it reminds me of them...

xeros
11-28-2005, 06:56 PM
eeeehhh I can see hwo you feel on it bu this kit from apex is practically stock looking. Thake a good look at a pic of the kit unmolded, then the car stock and then mine almost no diffrence I needed something to go along with the front bumper's low lip. The Apex kit was the cleanest and most stock looking. I thought I did a nice clean job myself. I guess I can't please everyone

looks good, must be nice to have your car with that big ass gate protecting it

i loved it until I saw that the rear and sides were molded. especially for a car that's gonna see track duty, that was a bad idea. I'm liking the black stripes actually, not a big fan of the front end though. rims look eh

but besides that, i'm fucking impressed with the coilovers. more details of your plans for the suspension?

xeros
11-28-2005, 09:42 PM
Well it has a a suspension techniques rear sway bar, waiting to get a tri point engineering front sway bar, urethnae bushings if i can even find em anymore. cusco strut bars and thats about it for now. The molding for the parts is for the meanwhile. Like a year or two to attract some of my own customers. I like how it cleans up the rear end as well s I wont say much more than that. The rims are stock and I hope to get some work vs xx or ce28ns in 17x9.5 and 17x10 or some white rims in the same size.

EchoOfSilence
11-28-2005, 09:47 PM
the vs-xx will decimate everything else.
as long as those molds come off :hs:

xeros
11-29-2005, 12:48 PM
just not a big fan of the molding are ya? well when I switch over to the san ai kit, I'll be sure to not mold it in.

EchoOfSilence
11-29-2005, 12:58 PM
you're gonna hit shit on the track. no matter what. when you're gonna want to take some body parts off... oh man good luck when they're molded.

vs-xx or meister s1's

xeros
11-29-2005, 09:45 PM
IMHO the meisters are foul. The emotion S1s are actually pretty decent though. But the more i look at the Ce-28Ns in black the more hyped up I get. As far as under hood mods go, I will be building a V moutn soon. have all the parts to do it. intake dp, mp, cb, apex PFC, pullies. 850cc primary 1300cc secondary. stock twins will proabbly blow soon. other than that I dont need much more power than 350 truthfully. No A/C. And a innovative wideband O2 for tuning.

You are going to regret molding that kit on. Car looks really good i think. I hate the black though.

Bad ass coilovers, but all you will do is understeer on auto x, and fall off the track on time attack unless you are running slicks with enough bite to actually load up those springs.

Please put an ls1 in it.

xeros
12-01-2005, 07:35 AM
NO LS1, and I know I'm gunna get the HT's revalved for much softer springs. But I was planning to use slicks for auto X so we will see. But chnaces are I will get revalved and softer springs in the spring becasue I wanna be able to drive it around as well.

Yeah, those black CE look real mean on your car. It also matches with the other black tones around the exterior. Nice photoshopping...had some free time on your hands huh? haha.

your kidding right thats liek the worst photoshop in the world haha but thanks anyways did it in liek 5 minutes. 3 of those were spent looking for the wheels.

blu808
12-01-2005, 11:56 PM
I still think you should do an ls1.

omgosh

seen it, looks nice but I just can't part with a rotary. Thoguh lately ive been htinkin about how limited all the tuning is...

blu808
12-08-2005, 02:44 AM
Yup besides being hard to tune, blowing up all the time, sounding annoying, having no torque, and crappy gas milage, rotaries are awsome.

Haha, I love that quote. I put it on my AIM profile. I couldn't put into words why 13Bs suck. Now I can.

Oye...The engine is too young, there hasent been enough R&D with the engine, nto enough technological advancement. The psiton engine has been around a coupel decades more than the rotary. for 1.3L engine its pretty inceardible as to what can og numbers you can get out of it. Yes I agree that they overheat quite often. And that the most you can do to achieve mor epower is up the boost and then port with more fuel. Simplicity will onyl get you so far I knwo but you know I'm a rotary head what can I do., I've been inlove with the car and concept ever since I learned baout it as wee bit kid.

Boost comes in, Apex seals come out.

xeros
12-08-2005, 04:33 PM
Hahaha, only if poorly tuned just liek any engine out there. Your just hater arent you? haha, its okay I'm not gunna defend it much cuz I have my own qualms with it. I was also thinking about why they don't make much torque either and I think it has soemthing to do with how little the actual rotar moves around in the housing on the accentric shaft. I'm not a mechnical engineer but it seems like it would be something in that area.

blu808
12-08-2005, 10:32 PM
Na its cool. I dont mind rotors for road racing.

I do however think that rotors are only good for slowing the car down when mated with a brake caliper.

Obviously you didn't read the post, or maybe I didn't write it. My family owns a shop been in the buisness 15 years, I've been in that shop since I was like 7. I did the entire car my self ground up, motor, suspension, chasis, body work paint, everything on that car was done with my own two hands. Of course I had the occasional extra hand or two from my friends when I had to take things like the tranny out. But other than that the entie car was done withmy own two hands.
