My buddy has a very low mileage T25 from an Eclipse that he is willing to sell to me more or less dirt cheap. I know very little about turbos so I don't know what the sizes mean or anything. Does anyone make a manifold to fit this? I am only going to run about 6 or 7 pounds on it, I don't really want to take the block apart and stuff it with bullet proof internals, so maybe 10 psi with race gas and some tuning at the track. I just want a quick and fun daily driver.
Anyone have any info on a T25 and how it might be applied to my KA24DE? Thanks! You guys are a great asset to this community.

I don't think a t25 would work at all. Even a t3 "40" based on the turbonetics.com compressor maps would blow hot at 4 psi on our cars. I did the plotting on my car, which should be the same on all s14s, and I think I hit 19.xx on the bottom line at 4 psi and 6k revs. Check a back issue of SCC, Sept '01 for info on how to plot your dot on the map.
But anyway... I doubt that the t25 could be a big help on the KA.
Sorry. If you can get a T3 from a z31 or any other car... that would work for what you want.

A T3 can be found on manny cars. Mustang 4bangers and thunderbird turbo coups are of abondance in junkyard. They both use the same T3 as the R31. The best stock T3 out there is off of an 88 or better Dodge Daytona Shelby. They have lighter components internally and a bigger exaust flange than the R31. Wen dodge was done with the prototype ove the daytona shelby they gave it to Lotus to tweek. The first thing they did was contract Gerret for an upgraded factory turbo. They even produced a bunch of modles with DOHC that were even faster than the stealth RT so for the sake of the stealth they droped the boost back down from lotus's 20psi back down to 15 with a dual stage setup. damn im rambling on... i need some sleep.

Can we take the turbo's off a Supra and apply them to our cars? And if we could, would it be worth it? Just a question out of curiousity.

I got my turbo off a Volvo. They came with a variety of turbos, ranging from Garret to Mitsubishi styles and different sizes.

I have a TD05... and am in the process of ordering a rebuild kit and possibly a new center section (16G compressor wheel maybe, too). Right now I'm waiting for the manifold, which is being welded up.

Other parts you will need are an exhaust manifold (from the cylinder head to the turbo), about $500 for one from rev-hard. Hollar if anybody has other information here. Downpipe to go from turbo to exhaust, intake piping to go from the other end of the turbo, through an intercooler and related airflow sensors, and into the intake manifold. You'll want some fuel management if you plan on kicking up the boost. Some of the other turbo guys will have more to say here. . .

does revhard make a minifold for the sr20 that would bolt up to a t3/04? if so, what is the website for revhard?

The only thing about the G/N turbo is that is the manifold flange is a weird 3-bolt patern. Would require a special manifold flange. would have to be custom. If you went with a Ford T3 like from the Shelby or Turbo Coupe you could use a revhard manifold. You would just need a flange to cover the wastegate hole to make it an externally wastegated Turbo. that would save you about $100-$150 on the turbo. Less boost capabilities, but quicker spool.
