Hey guys I got my Injen with CAI and my Apexi N1 Dual. I put the intake on but I don't want to install the exhaust until I get a header for it. Can anyone recommend a nice high performance header to match up with what I got?

You could go to www.240sx.org they have a faq on different headers. From what I read Hot Shot headers are the best.

The Greddy is a 4-1, not too much different than the stock manifold. But it will bolt directly to the stock exhaust downpipe.

The Hot Shot is a 4-2-1. It goes all the way under the car to where the Cat is/was. I don't think you can run the stock cat with the hot shot. The best performance wise.

Pacesetter I would stay away from this one.

what is the price difference between the two

about the same. Greddy is better quality and stainless. The hot shot I have is ceramic coated.

Greddy makes a 4-2-1 header. I believe it costs $432.00. That's the one I plan on going with.

thats the first I've heard of a greddy 4-2-1 header. Can you post a link. That would be VERY nice to see.

The greddy costs $360 and the hotshot costs $330,the greddy is a shorty and the HS is a "longy".I hollowed out me upper cat and it sounded a lot meaner, and seemed a little more powerful. So I figure you could get the HS and you will get some more hp cuz your less the upper cat,or go w/ the greddy and spend more money and get less hp.Also if you get the HS I'll bet the check engine light will come on,so just take out the dummy light in the gauge cluster.good luck

gutting the cat will reduce hp

tnord?.. Gutting the cat might decrease torque.. but i believe it will def increase top end hp..... (someone correct me if i'm wrong..)

Do you know what causes that by chance?

It used to happen b/c hotshot didn't have a place to hook up the secondary o2 sensor.. but I'm pretty sure they have fixed that problem by adding a spot for it.

I was wrong. I went to S-3 (import shop near my house). I could have sworn that the owner told me they made one for the 240, but he told me different the other day. For what it's worth, I admit I looked like a dipshit on this topic.

So, with the hotshot it takes out the cat? And on the 95s the with a hotshot, I would have to use a custom high flow cat and pipe back to my N1 dual? I would remove the "fake cat" which is a resinator i believe, thats right before the cat back. Are there 2 o2 sensors on my 95?
