Ok, I found a Z32LSD and wanna know, A)Will it owrk, and B)How
In the FAG it says non-turbo will work with some different axles, but how do i know if it is T or non T? If its non, how do I make it work in my 93 coupe?
Here is a pic of the dif if that helps ID it...

You say you searched, but you didn't search hard enough, because this has been covered MANY times.

Yes n/a z32 will fit

No Turbo z32 will not fit (its HUGE)

all you need are half shafts (output shafts) from a j30 (junkyard)

next time, search harder

well, I for one, I meanst FAQ, sorry, two I dont have Power steering, so parking lot drivability is kinda iffy as is, Im affraid what it would be like with a welded diff.

"Fit with pre-1/94 J30 axles OR JDM S13 axles OR R32 Skyline axles OR 6 bolt vlsd output flanges OR shaved open diff output flanges:
90-96 NA Z32 VLSD
Pre 1/94 J30 VLSD
91 - 95 JDM S13 VLSD
JDM R32, A31 and others"

What is all this about shaved flanges and what not, is there more than one way to do it or what?

Also, found a good deal on one local, but dunno if its Turbo or not, can any one tell me by the pic?

haha, FAG.

diff fluid should be in the viscosity area of 80-90.

And clean it up!

The picture you provided is NOT a Z32 diff. That's an early J30.

How do I know you ask? Z32s have a 4channel ABS setup, so the sensors are mounted on each output shaft. This is why you have to swap them when fitting the diff into an Schassis, the shaft is physically longer. The diff you posted has the shorter output shafts, and the single sensor on the snout, common to 3channel systems found in the S13, S14, and J30. It's a 2bolt cover so it's not an S13, and it's got 5bolt shafts, so it's not an S14 or later J30.
So if the diff in question is the one for sale, it will bolt right in with the use of matching J30 axles. Get it if it's a good price.
