I just picked up a VLSD swap from an R32 Skyline with the RB20 engine. It came with the entire pumpkin and axles. Will the skyline axles work on an S13, because the stock axles won't bolt up to the output flanges on the skyline diff. Also, is there a particular fluid that I should run in a VLSD rear end or is the regular gear oil what should be used?

used dino gear oil with diff.. you can add the additive if you like... use a 5 star bolt axle with the diff.... and yes the skyline ones should work..

I had R33 GTR axles on my JDM 180SX diff on my S13.

So, yeah.

Yes...I'm currently using R32 GTS-T Type-M diff in my 18SX (I live in Japan) & axles are interchangeable.
