what do i need to do the de swap into my 89? can i use the same tranny? and i know i would have to change ecu's to obd2 i think.. and harness also .. but what steps would i need to do the swaps please help!! cause my friend is gonna give me his de engine from his s14.

yes you can put a dohc in a sohc car

there's a few threads on it. since your friend is giving you everything i would just use all the dohc shit instead of trying to frankenstein it.
