This may sound weird, but you may want to change your slave cylinder. My thinking is that your worn weak old clutch was not taxing the slave like your new High Performance clutch, and it is leaking past the plunger not allowing the clutch to fully disengage. Also this is an easy fix, instead of pulling the tranny and clutch.

Jonnie Fraz, good call
Before you do any repair.
Have someone step on the clutch while you under the car.
You maybe surprised at what you see and hear.

behind the clutch pedel is a long threaded rod that hooks on to the clutch pedal and goes through the firewall. Adjust it so that it goes deeper into the firewall. This should be done with new high performance clutches. Check out zeroyon.com I think they have something on it.

the clutch master and slave cylinders are brand new and were replaced less than a month ago. and i've already adjusted the pedal all the way up. it can't raise it any higher. the whole clutch assembly has been replaced within the last month

My Centerforce on my first S14 did that too after only a few thousand miles, I'm betting you've just got a bad pressure plate and the weights aren't countering properly. Mine never did, I sold it after 4k miles and put in an ACT.
You've done everything else right.

Its probabally not the problem but just a thought. My ex had a 2000 eclipse that I replaced the clutch on. That POS was designed so the to bearing was held on by a spring/clip deal and not pressed onto a carrier. She had the same peoblem after the install because the spring got worn out by me removing it and wearing/streching it out. Maybe you have aproblem with the to bearing on the carrier?

Hey Paradox congrats on gettting your car fixed. You might want to post what you did to fix it, so if anyone else has this problem they will know what to look for.
