Grabbed these stills off of an option video. From what I can tell it is a competition car from the early days of D1.
I had to make a double take to make sure I saw what I thought I saw. I couldn't believe how well it flows.
Any chance any of you guys have a better pic of this car or any other fastback with s14 tails?
Thanks!

Is that the car that also got a Kouki S14 front end on later on down the road?
Cause I have pictures of an orange 180sx with kouki S14 front end and taillight from TAS like 2 years ago or something? I wonder if that's the same car...

the conversion is clean as fuck. I was thinking about a kouki hatch the other day and wondering. Now I know....

Anyone know what you need for that conversion other then the taillights? Are they still using a S13 bumper or a s14 bumper for the rear? I think that conversion looks really clean and I might consider doing it.

I like the Kouki (S14) tails on the hatch, I've never even thought of that. As for S14 front on S13 hatch, it only works with that kit, and that rear end, other than that, it would've looked like ass.

its simply a matter of taste. good taste at that. i love how this place is so quick to judge other cars so negatively that have very similar body kits. because this is a 240 it looks awesome right? :rawk: a civic with S2000 tails is gay, stupid, homo, rice, but an S13 with S14 tails is cool? some of you guys are such freaking hypocrites. its hilarious when cars are posted with these outlandish aero kits and people drool over them. they are WaY jdm mang. heres another opinion of mine im sure you will get butthurt about ( ), and start calling names again. 90% of the japanese, have really bad over the top taste. crazy paint jobs, tacky ass body kits. way oversized wheels. so many people here aspire their cars to look like they came from an option magazine.. i would feel like a fool driving one of those around the street. drop the money under the hood, or just spend it on another car. doesnt anyone else feel they have outgrown the bodykits, silly paintjobs, and "look at me" wheels? dont you feel embarrassed driving around in a horribly loud car? it is true, i really dont care what people think about me. but have you heard the term, "act your age" lately?

Okay basically put it like this. It's BFE in the car scene compared to Socal, Florida and houstan. An area where bascially you haven't seen much stuff outside of stock or mainstream bodykits and wheels in pereson which aree of poor taste so you haven't got to see car this calibur in person to really judge how you like the style.

You asked "why" and i said "because" and gave the reason. The reason people dont "realize" what you say as the truth is because they have something called an "opinion."

i think it has more to do with having more than one "scene" here. the muscle car thing is enormous here. there is also a euro scene building here more rapidly every year. i think us import guys have come from muscle car backgrounds. where performance comes way before gaudy asthetics. i will agree with you. different scenes entirely.

Super Clean Conversion! That S14 front end looks tite compared to your average s13 silvia front clip. If I ever wreck my silvia front clip this will be something I consider. With the big trend being an S15 front end for an S13.5 it would be cool and different to rock an S14.4!! The angles on the rear are a little off but overall the car looks amazing! How much yall think that would cost to finish the conversion. I'm thinkin 10 G's or more.

Looks good to me, I have never seen an S14 rear in person on a 180.,...not bad at all...maybe that will give me an idea..even might be cheaper than finding Type X Tails since S14's Q's are junked everywhere...

i would say its a "all out" drift/show car. again going back to the different "scene" here. i dont see that crap very often. im glad. here, you will see thousands thrown into the engine and suspension, like that car. but the majority of people here stop right there. it seems that very few around here have any desire to drive anything resembling that. its way too overboard. too flashy. the sheer definitian of rice right there. yes i did it. i pulled the "rice" card.

Wow,those rims look identical to my cheap ass motegis I got on my S13 :w00t: except he doesn't have the little nismo stickers on his !
I don't think I like that fastback though, honestly. I prefer more of a clean look though.

rice is form over function. this car has both function where it counts, under the hood and in the suspension, and form that I'm certain its owner likes (liked). just because you don't like it (neither do I) doesn't mean that it's suddenly rice. I'm sure its owner could give two shits for your opinion. :ghey:

^^^ please, elaborate.
I wonder how long it will take for people to realize that professional drift cars HAVE to look flashy, thats how they get their sponsors/shops recognized.
everyones seen a stock s14 and s13 and FC's and FD's and whatever. Things like this GET THE CAR NOTICED. they SHOW OFF THE SPONSORS, and if you're a body shop, a car like that can bring you tons of business. If you can graft 2 different generations together, think how easy it would be to pull and fill a dent, or install aero.
