Hey everyone,

Just wondering for those who have removed their stock springs from their stock suspension on their S14, do you guys have the spring isolation (urethane) sleeves laying around? If so, do you mind giving them to me or selling them for a small fee?

They're the plastic sleeves that slip onto the top and bottom of the front springs, and the bottom of the rear springs.

If I can have an easy way to reduce some noise on my new aftermarket springs (thanks OptionZero), I'd rather do that.

Please PM or e-mail me. Thanks.

edit: For thsoe who don't know what I'm referring to, they look like the picture on my signature.

Chris,

There's aftermarket rubber things you can put over springs to stop the rubbing. Tein makes them:

Thanks Phillip.

I didn't know they made those. I was thinking if I couldn't get any old ones from people, I would just use some clear vinyl tubing from Lowe's/Home Depot. That would probably be MUCH cheaper.

Not selling the boot trim, but just giving a heads up to people who order via online dealerships.

I just noticed I'm getting negative reputation on this thread? wth?

Isolations sleeves just help out from all of the creaking when you go over bumps. I am not looking for full pillowball mounted, heim-jointed, solid non-rubber hardcore suspension, and maybe never will. My ride is a 98, still in very good condition, and I'd like to keep it's refined personality for now. 90% of the time it's my daily driver...I hate having to defend myself and even though I don't really care for the reputation "points," I find it interesting that people take the time to bash me for something as simple as adding rubber sleeves to springs to greatly reduce noise.

don't worry about them, it's all random people anyways. If they aren't man enough to send you a real PM or email, they aren't worth worrying about.
