...to knock off other aero.
in that case BN Sports is also a knockoff, and so is vertex, and 326....
My origin stuff fit fine, and so has quite a few, but you have to consider not every car is going to be perfectly to spec after 10 years...

326power uses bn aero.

not saying knockoff aero is bad, just stating that it's scarily similar to other kits on the market.

im saysing its as much a knockoff as every good looking kit on the market.

just because its 'designed by chunky bai'
doesnt mean its magically unique stuff
id consider it knockoff
stylish= vertex with tiny front bumper changes
aggressive= uras with tiny front bumper changes
aggressive 2= d drug with no changes (?)

My Origin fit pretty well. I twas a bit tight over the fenders. My O-L driver side over fender was a lil warpped for some reason.. Got it work though.
MY V:S Aero.. all fit well but needed extra "care" around the fenders.. I had to sand quite a bit of gel coat off to get my door closed with out slamming it.
About the "knock off" shit. Keep it out of this thread. Who gives a shit who designed it, just lets not bring it up.

BN sports = vertex but bulgier
one of the gp sports = kouki aero with more flare
one of the m sports = kouki aero with more flare
stream = m sports + drft
326 = bn + drft
and the list could go on
I dont care who its made by they all are based off the same things, there is only so much you can do without looking like shogun kits.... I could argue version select isnt a direct copy too, there are subtle differences, origin has bigger differences.
Agressive and URAS are quite different if you have both sitting next to each other, height, width, how much they come out....
And on stylish, if they cant change the bumper than what can they change, is there a minimum limit on how much they can change it by to make it not a knocoff if so please give me the dimensions of all the aero.
Just cuz its cheap doesnt mean it has to be a knockoff.
And Origin bought D-Drug, so its not a copy...

I had a few fitment issues, but nothing major. Main thing was the rear bumper sides flared out really far, but I think that's cuz they're designed to be used with the overfenders, which I don't have...

i was test fitting my origin front fenders, one is almost perfect but the passenger side needs some help. the bottom part by the door needs to be cut off a little.
origin isnt a knock off, its just another type of aero.

you guys are idiot
all aero is similar in some way or style
mine fit ok
but my car is so fucked up its mstly the car's fault. two serious accidents in its past haha
my friends ORIGIN and VS fit nearly perfect. always the tweak w/ the aero
unles you have Vertex, then it fits to a T
a friends M Sports was nearly perfect
a friends TRAUM was perfect (like Vertex) on his JZX100 MarkII

im not putting down origin
but its very close to other easily recognized aero. slight differences but not significant- i guess i recognize aero mainly by how much it flares. i dont really care fake or real- its too hard to get real stuff here and the price is retarded.
i have ebay uras myself. 400 bucks...side by side definitely a tougher stuff than v:s. fitment, im just starting on it but it seems near perfect. my car isnt fucked up at all so i have it easy
original poster- should fit fine, just mess with it more or pay a bodyshop some bucks. they will get it perfect.

Soooooooooooo we're idiots? In your whole post you basically said, real aero fits and knock off aero needs some minor modifying? Re-read what everyone else has been saying genious.....

As a matter of fact, I do own aero. And I happen to own Origin aero and know what people are talking about.
I manage a whole company that manufacturers aero in fiberglass, carbonfiber and urethane. What about you? You're the only one regurgitating what everyone else is posting just to up your post count. I mean you replied to me like 1/8th of a second after I posted. It's a Saturday night, I mean go try and get laid or something. If you do have to retort, I wont get it until the morning because I happen to have a life outside of Zilvia.
Once again, Real aero fits and knock off aero needs some work, even Origin.

i had ait previously too.
my friend had vertex (went kablooeeey)

had HOT ROAD (went kaboom)
has VS (is thrashed)
has origin now
go thru quite a bit of aero with tracking the car regularly and daily driving it. so get to use a few various companies parts and buying new stuff here and there (most front and rear bumpers)
traum, yeah buddy has that as i mentioned previously.
same w/ real uras, yep yep
no regurgitation here real thing. ill post my car tomorrow. i havent had a chance since it was painted. i dont mind.

I guess its my turn to chime in/rant...
I ordered my kit from the shop ___________ its a version select type 1, and I guess the freight company broke the whole kit in the shipping process. on top of version select forgetting to ship it out. and then, they reshiped a new one, fullll of stress cracks and the vent on the fender was snapped, etc... and for some reason they shipped me an origin back bumper. and it was pretty nice that they drill the holes for you, but the thing fit like hell. it was pretty sad. it was also sad it had so many stress cracks. the fenders fit like death too. and the cornerlights didn't fit without extensive modifications to the fender and lights. the front bumper is great, and the sideskirts are flawless too. but I guess what I am trying to say, is body kits are never ever perfect. 50% factory error roughly, and shitty underpaid freight company workers that dont give a shit about other peoples stuff. body kits pretty much just suck and take tons of work to get them decent.
so basically, getting a kit to fit nicely is more up to the one who is doing the body work.
car is in the sig.

Dousan's a Chump for switchin' over that beautiful Zenki, don't you get enough Koukis to look at out here as it is? ? ?. .. .& you needs some wider wheels, good gawd ! ! !
Dr.Baby

i have 17x9.5 +12 and 18x10.5 +15 (full set of the 18s) on its way home here. from my friend shop in japan. in time
rear is 17x10
fronts are temp. AD07 tires are wider then said and my 235 rubs a lot, so i got some 215/40 RT615 instead and those will go on the 9s and the AD07s will go on the 9.5s
buy wheels to fit the car, not the other way around, dont want some crazy stupid wheels and hav eto tweak everything to make it work right.
zenki was cool. but kouki is super hot. no one has a really hot kouki anyways imo. i cant compete w/ something like that FATLACE/guy from norcal. his zenki is the shit!

I kinda want to do a zenki conversion... Always liked my zenki S14's from the first one I bought in '95... Why can't you compete with Mark's zenki?
But... yah I got VERTEX and can't complain... fit so well I got a discount from the body shop cuz of the holes being in the right place and the fitment being perfect...
I had VS and Origin... both had minor fitment problems... but as everyone has said repeatedly... it happens with knockoff kits... basically you get what you pay for...
Here's a pic of the VS stuff... fit pretty well with a little heat etc...
