I would love to have some pity for you people who will be working that day to wallow in, but I will be personally leaving work at 5 wednesday and won't be setting foot in that sumbish again until monday...
And the sweet shit about it is that I will be getting paid for the 2 1/2 days I would not normally be off just the same as if I was there.

Yes it is, because the day after Thanksgiving is taken as the biggest shopping day of the holiday season, and in such sees the most traffic in stores and malls and such.

The good side to this is that you can get the best deals on stuff, hence the reason this thread was started.

i used to work at sears in the hardware dept. and they would actually fire people who didnt work that day. i dreaded black fri. it was the worst. people get crazy and stupid. ive actually seen grown women fight over a set of sockets.
