I haven't posted on here but a couple times, but I have been reading these forums for a year or two now. I did a breif search on this but have found nothing yet, so flame if u must.

I recently bought a new daily driver (06 wrx, love the awd but not as much as rwd) so I haven't driven my 240 in a while in about a month.

I had a sr redtop swap about a year ago and had driven it for the last year with minimal problems. I started my 240 today and let her sit for about 3 minutes or so and then pulled out of the drive way. When I put her in neutral the idle shot up and maintened a very high RPM (not sure how high cause havent swapped the tach over). I cut off the car and parked her and am not sure how to fix the ridiculously high idle problem. Any help is much appreciatted.

haven't had time to really check into anything yet... I am going to tonight after work and I'll let you know... anyone have suggestions on major areas I should check first?

check to see if your throttle is sticking

my throttle plate got a little gunked up and would stick open a bit making the car idle at 2000 rpms
