hey guys, i have a hks type s fmic that has been used for maybe a month. Im looking to trade it for another fmic of some other brand, or even the same fmic. the problem is, my kit was for a 180sx, which was my old car, but since then i have decided to go with an s13 front, and it doesn't fit quite right ( touches headlights ) and also causes my bumper not to fit correctly, i would like to trade straight for another fmic ( blitz, apexi, greddy r spec) also, ic piping has been painted black, was goin for a low profile look, core is still silver.
heres a before pic

I have the same FMIC (for 180) with my Silvia S13 face... I did not experience these issues. Perhaps its how your mounting brackets are holding the FMIC to the car. It took more cutting of my bumper support, but in the end, everything fit fine.

180sx or silvia version of this intercooler is all the same. the only difference is the mouting brackets. You need to make your own brackets to adjust it to your front end.

greddy, blitz, apexi, etc. are all the same size. 24x12x3. but the hks is 2.5 thick. hks has better designed end tanks
