All I can say is holly sh*t <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'>
Talk about a difference over stock! The sound has changed ten fold and she screams at 3 grand. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> Hit it in second gear and she runs like a scorched dog. If any of you have put off this mod for your SR (which I doubt you have) do it now. I now have the baddest ride on my block...well power anyway <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/blush.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
The cone air filter I didn't notice a difference in power w/ though. I installed the filter first (and it started to rain so I couldn't put the dp on) and took it out for a ride. The sound changed a little bit but felt no power on the ass-o-meter so I was pretty disapointed but at least I got rid of the stock air box
Now comes the boost controller...well, when I get the money <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

Pretty badass dude, how much was the downpipe? I was thinkin about one when I get my car back, or buy it now and have them put it on while the SR goes in.

The pipe was $169 off enjuku and seriously don't pay someone to do your monkey work. It took me a total of like 45 mins to put it on (including rusty bolts and a smoke break). A shop would charge you like $70 bucks to do that...save that money to have a hot boost controller installed or hell buy porn w/ it <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> I will try to get some sound clips of it when I get someone to host it for me

Haha sounds like a plan, porn sounds good too. Do you have a new test pipe on there yet?? I was thinkin about this too as well as the down pipe. Not too sure if greddy makes one to match the size of the dp. Plus then I get rid of the cat and Ive got 3 inches all the way back <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

it shoudlnt be too hard to find one fabricated, people have sold htme on here before for like $25, or you could have a generic one made to size and have flanges welded on at a welding shop or something

If you go to heavy throtle they sell one for $119 but I would be weary of one for $25. The fitment of the Greddy was perfect and it used the stock hanger mount when the stock didn't (go figure) <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/huh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
Or you could say I was playing the name brand game but I am much more willing to pay extra for piece of mind then get a bargain that I will regret then still have to pay for the good stuff later <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

im talking about the test pipe for $25, not downpipe, that would definately be suspect. considering a test pipe is just a straight piece of pipe with 2 little flanges welded on that are a couple dollars, thats completely reasonable

My bust, I misunderstood you <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/blush.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
I plan on just gutting mine for the time being but I definatly plan on getting the test pipe before I take her out for a track day(hopefully soon) <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> I soooooo wanna see what she can do

i've heard on several different occasions that gutting your cat actually drops HP, or at least low end torque, though i have also heard (mostly from the rx-7 guys) That it gives good power gains in turbo cars...not really sure which is the case, anyone care to spread some light on this?
and you can probably get a muffler shop to weld you up one real easy, or pick one up from pdm racing or something on the cheap

Im not too sure about gutting the cat, but my friend mike completely removed the cat and he said it added some nominal hp.

Was he running the SR? I haven't gutted it yet because I am sooooo sick of pulling my exhaust apart <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> I have heard you can get like 5-8hp gutting it or bypassing.
I'm going to leave it like it is and pick up the eliminator from HT

lol oops sorry forgot to mention its a Supra. Twin Turbo though, so I dont know if there would be a big difference. Although he did manage to pass emissions (here in WA) without the cat <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
