So we got a 90 White Coupe at the shop that needs 1k worth of brake work and service wrighter saying that guy doesnt want the car and wants to get rid of it.
It's got 209k its auto and has a dent in right quarterpanel probly 10"...shouldnt be that bad to fix. I am thinking of offering that guy 200 bucks. regardless of auto or not chassi shoudl be worth more then that if i were to need money and be forced to sell it...right? It does run by the way.

main reason i want it is so i can park my precious Kouki in the garage and not have to drive it to work.

^ im with that idea.

I mean the car must be taking up some kind of space. But 1k of brake work? does the whole system need to be replaced?

If he says no to $50, offer him $60 and so forth.

$1K worth in brake repairs from a shop's perspective? or a mechanically inclined enthusiast's perspective? if your planning on using it strictly for commuting purposes i would say go for it...i would...but if you plan on modifying it, there are many better canidates out there...

It's probably $1k of dealership pricing.
So, $700 worth of brand new OEM calipers rotors/pads/master cyl and $300 of labor.
In other words, $50 at the junkyard and a few hours of DIY fun.

lowball won't hurt right now...

I don't know, 200K at the odometer, that's kind of high. Just hope you won't dump too much money into the s13 since you got a nice S14 going already... Have to be careful dividing your money/love between the two S chassis.
