just wondering why at start up my idle is around 1500rpm but after driving a bit and coming to a stop at a signal light it is around 1000rpm.

Also notice that during initial startup and putting into 1st gear, the car bogs when i take off.

Any ideas? s14 w/ redtop

Car idle at initial startup will always be high (warming up cycle). it will drop after you warm up the engine a little bit, and ultimately hitting the normal operating temp (750ish rpm idle). i thought this is more like a fact wasn't it?

About your second question - I thought it has something to do with the ... initial startup injector (I can't really recall on top of my head).

i got the same problem its jumps back n forth from 1.5k to 1k.

you might wanna try cleaning your iacv on the intake manifold.

spray carb cleaner thru the filer? or spray into the throttle body?
