View Full Version : Freshly Rebuilt S14 HKS HipermaxII Coilovers 0 miles on them

Selling my extra set of Freshly Rebuilt S14 HKS HipermaxII Coilovers with 0 miles on them. I just got these back from HKS and have no room for them in my garage. These are not the same set that I sold last week. The buyer for these backed out so I am reposting to start new interest.

IF you are seriously interested and have cash/paypal... contact me and I will send you some detailed pics of the condition.

Coils are again... Freshly rebuilt and have NO MILES on them. They changed out everything on them seals etc, even re-threaded the perch threads on the shock body and replaced the shaft boot on the rears. I had them rebuilt just for general maintenance... they were not blown, I am just anal about my stuff.

If you need references let me know and I will provide local/out of state/Int'l guys on this forum that have bought from me.

Also, please keep in mind that it costs at least $600 to rebuild a full set of coilovers at HKS.

What do you think is a REASONABLE price for these?

I don't think reasonable = $400/$450 picked up/$600 picked up/$650 shipped and definitely not $100+shipping... c'mon guys are you serious?

Keep in mind it's $150 per coil rebuilt...

the best price i found was 1700 for em(new)..so you guys get the idea..

I mean I'm not asking for $1700 or $1500 even... I'm asking for a REASONABLE offer.

I would figure that someone with an s14 that needed/wanted some good coilovers or any coilovers for that matter would pay a reasonable price for even a half decent set like KTS/KSport/TeinHE...

But like I said... I'll wait for a reasonable offer.

I still owe some people pics and I will get them out tonight after I head home.

I think a reasonable offer is $1000... I guess I had to put the damn things on ebay to get a reasonable offer... what was I thinking!!!

Are you a mod? I know the rules and wasn't listing an ebay item... just proof that I got a $1000 bid. Anyways go ahead and lock this thread... I'm tired of the lowball offers...

I understand the implications of my post and it's not my fault for not listing a price. I was trying to be generous and offer some people on here quality stuff at a good price...

I don't think I was b*tching by explaining what I thought wasn't a reasonable offer and telling people that I did get a reasonable offer on ebay.
