1st cylinder is misfiring. I really don't know what's causig it. But it take a while to get the car to start. 1st cylinder has spark, but its an orange spark, looks weak. I swap out the ingnitor chips, no difference. Injectors are spiting. Others have told me it could be my wire harness.

did you try swapping coil packs?
do a stumble test
start the car and let it idle
now unplug the first coil pack if the car stumbles hook it back up and move to the next cyl go through until you find one where the car does not stumble that is your problem
second take a coilpack from one of the other cyls and swap it with the problem pack then repeat test
if the coil was the issue the problem will move with the coil pack
if the problem stays regardless of coilpack then it may be in your wiring
you can perform the same test with your injectors but it is more difficult to move them around.
do this and get back to us.

ive already done that. But anway last night I swaped tuned ecu's with my friend, and the car ran better, idle was smoother. Its stumbles in low rpm, I think that's because of my exhaust, I have none. Im going to get that welded today.I guess my friend's ecu is tuned for my car. Alltho Im still having trouble starting. I have to floor it to start it. I know its getting more than enough fuel pressure because Im running rich, and back fires.

is BOV atmosphered? is you IACV hooked up? if you get the exaust on it may help with idle but I would venture that the IACV is clogged spray it with some carb cleaner see if that helps.
Also if you have already done that did the problem stay on the first cyl? or did it move with a coilpack?
is the ECU throwing any codes?
if the ECU helped try changing your plugs and running the other ECU the combination may clear your problem up...

the exhaust did helped it idle smoother. Car still stumbles in low rpms. Car still feels slow. everything is hooked up iacv. BOV is atmoshphere. I'll buy new plugs tomorrow. and the problem didn't move from cylinder one. swaped coilpacks, and still there. Couple friends say its wiring. Im going to have my friend recheck the wiring. Gas mileage sucks too, and Im only driving on rock. Im getting desperate, last resort take it to the shop and get robbed blind.

Hard Starting And The Need For An Open Throttle Plate Says Way To Rich!
You Might Have Leaky Injectors.... There Are Leaking Down Into The Cylinders And Fill Them Up Causing A Hard Start And The Need For More Air.

To check the injectors pull your fuel rail and pressurize the system (turn car to run position so pump kicks on) and look for any leaks either at the needle or around the cap or o-ring
recirc your BOV it will also help with the idle problem

Yup it was a leaky injector. A very small crack in the o ring, but huge leak. I guess all the fuel just got dumped into cylinder 1. It also solved the hard starts. But I got another problem. Idles jump from anywhere to 1k, to 1.5k Im thinking its a boost leak. but car runs real good. Im just going to ghetto rig a pressure tester tho.

if the idle jumps, it shouldnt be a boost leak considering the motor is running under vacuum.... more than likely it is a vacuum leak... or possibly your idle adjust screw is set incorrectly.

so how do I adjust it? I messed with it, and no difference.
