Hey, were looking at a 1995 Subaru Impreza L. I have had this car since the begginning of the year and I just am ready to get a 240. The car drives fine and is ready for an EJ20T swap. I know a guy out here that will do it if that is what you're interested in. Not too many mods on it but it is a great daily driver. 112000 mi on it and it doesn't burn or drip oil. Asking $3850 obo. E-mail me at
[email protected] with any requests for pics or questions about the car
GOOD:
AWD
5 SPD
1.8l N/A
2DR
Infinity Kappa 6.5 3-way deck speakers
Intake
5Zigen FNO1RC(17x7)-black
Khumo Ecsta 711's
BAD:
Only mechanical is a bad CV joint that still has some life left in it. A crack in the windsheild but nothing too serious. And some body dings. Other than that the car is clean.

I'm located in East Mesa. The swap would cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $7000-$10000 at the most. It all depends on what setup you want. If you want the spec-c engine that will cost if you want the RA dif. and trans. that will cost. But if you want to talk about it, then i can set you up with the guy that does it.

Yeah but the reason htat it's so expensive is because you have to swap the entire powertrain. There's no way that a USDM Trans and diff would hold 300+hp on it. Also if that price makes you want to cry, i do know how to do it myself and it would cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $4000 but that takes some skill and a lot of beer.

Actually the trans and rear can do the power. i have a friend that has a stang 4 swap in a L with stock tranny and rear end and he has had it for close to a year now..another friend running a stage 4 with wrx tranny and stock impreza rear and her just ran 12.5. depending on how much work you do yourself and the deal you find the swap can be done fairly cheap.

Thanks for the good point Seth, it all depends on who you know and how much you know for the swap.
