i found a white 89 240sx coupe this afternoon.. its an auto..
the guy asked for 1200 for it... i dunno if this is a good deal or not... it got 2 bad injectors (need replacement) and a damaged rod.. i will still run though...  but the thing is that im planning on doing an sr or rb swap in it...
need your opinions guyz...should i take or leave it alone... i'll appreciate it.. thanks <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

how many miles are on it? is there anything else wrong with it? (there's bound to be)... being taht it's an 89, I'm sure the miles are pretty high... the price isn't all that bad, but given the damage it's sustained, and the auto tranny, I'd keep looking for a manual if you're doing the SR swap.

I think patience is the key man, you shouldn't buy something that you really don't want. Be picky about what 240 you buy and you shouldn't be dissapointed. Also, Yoshi made a good point about finging a manual if you plan to do the sr swap.

Also, you being in texas i saw an s13 for sale down the street from boost factor. &nbsp;i believe it was a 91 and the body looked great. &nbsp;I didn't stop to look at it, but maybe if you give those guys a call they might be able to look at it for you :/

I saw one on autotrader.com in Tx for $900 obo with a burnt motor. It was a 5spd and the body looked straight. You could probably offer between $500 to $750 and you would not have to do a trany swap. I thought about getting it myself but then I would have had to pay to get it to Mn.

Here, I found the link, it is in Southern Tx
