Hey guys this is AadosX posting on my friends name... won't let me log out for some reason.
Anyways I found an S14 at a junkyard today wrecked in the front, car is almost complete though, DON'T ASK FOR PARTS HERE, thanks.
But there was an exhaust on it and it seems kind of promising. It is mild steel, one peice design, has a resonator, large piping but I can't tell if its larger than the standard 3". It has no marks on the muffler or elsewhere whatsoever. I figured that since it is a full catback it probably isn't a cheapo ebay but maybe it is? Any idea what it is?... sorry no pics. I was thinking maybe N1 or GT Spec from Apex'i, but do they have badging on them?
One noticable thing was that there was a sort of support bracket going from the resonator to the piping about an inch away, if you know the exhaust then you will know what I'm talking about.
Thanks,
John

all exhaust have support brackets (hangers). and no pic , no one can tell.
And apexi have a badge stating apexi along with a part#
and it if greddy, hks, jdm stuff.. it usually, not alway, jasma certified because most of them have a resonator to make it quiet
more than likely i say ss autochrome

most/all ssac has that bracket your decsribing...but does it matter? if you can get it for the junkyard rate=> get it, slap it on, and call it whatever the fuck you want...catbacks a catbacks a catback...plus points if its mandrel...
congrats on getting the "most vague thread" award... :D

hes not talking about hangers...hes talking about a plate that goes diagonally from the edge of the resonator to the piping...
-but then again, i dont think its ssac because hes describing a N1 style muffler...ssac doesnt offer any N1 style ones with resonator...only the dual N1 replica comes with a resonator...
-none of the a'pexi exhausts have resonators at all...straight pipe
-greddy, blitz, and hks have resonators...but i dont know of any of the mentioned looking like an N1...

Haha cookie for you man!! ^^ You hit the nail on the head with the bracket thing.
Obviously I know what a hanger is hahaha.
Yeah I know this is very vague I'm doing the best I can lol. I know it isn't Blitz because I owned it... that's about all I've ever seen in person though, and sites never use actual pictures when selling, just random pics of that exhaust model from who knows what car. Anyways like I said, it's def resonated, mandrel bent, and looks to be pretty good quality. Hangers are good quality too, this definitely is a catback ordered, nothing fabbed up. I will try to get a picture, but thanks for the replies so far.
Yes it is N1 style btw. And the resonator is more like a rounded rectangle, not just a cyl.
OH, I just remembered an important point, IIRC it did not cock out to the side like the JDM tyte style. It just went straight back.
