how long are you going to keep your car?

i was looking for a 328is when i stumbled across the 240, i can pretty much garauntee, that unless some kind of boost happens in the next year, my car will be for sale 1 year from right now.

i'll be keeping my S14 till someone builds a 160+ hp rwd car that is not hideous that i can afford....

I plan to keep it as long as I can, but it will lean towards the direction of project car, hobby car, or something I drive on the weekends. &nbsp;I want to get a WRX STi, but in the future I have a feeling I will buy an AFV or Alternative Fuel Vehicle. &nbsp;I might go for CNG or LPG. &nbsp;Just remember the gas we have right now will probably be gone in 35 years, when the 240SX can be considered a classic &nbsp;<img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/satisfied.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':satisfied:'> .

my ultimate plan is to keep it forever, do a tranny swap at some point, and use it as my daily driver if i can ever afford my 350z track, which i want to mod the hell out of! suspension I/H/E all the fun stuff project 350z my goal would be 400 crank hp, maybe im just dreaming lol

This sounds about around what I would like to do. &nbsp;I will probably be getting new cars when I am older, but I dont think I could let my S14 go, especially when its even heavilier modded.

I actually was thinking of putting that in my will. When I die I want to be buried in the drivers seat of a 300ZXTT with a crap load of mods. My life insurance would be more then enough to cover it and it would be much cooler then a boring coffin. I doubt it will ever happen though &nbsp;<img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cry.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':cry:'>
