Clear S13 Silvia Brake Lights

The lights in the photo are the non "bling/rice" clear ones, apparently made by "super made" , and I much prefer them to the other ones and they are non existent here in New Zealand, where the local ricers are buying turbos and trying to rice them :axe:

I know the topic has been rehashed a good few times, after searching like all good newbies should, but alas its always the gay chromey ones.

first does anyone know anyone or a shop that still sells them, and if so can you give me contact details etc...as Im going home(california) for a visit later next month and would be keen on getting them there.

have you tried clearcorners.com yet? they took the link down b/c there working on a LED version but I'm sure you can still get the older non-LED version which were $225 for coupes iirc. They look a lot like the ones pictured above.

yeah i was just gonna mention them as well..... clearcorners are nice but tend to me on the pricey side though.

but consider the price of 180sx kouki tails.... why would people complain about a product that is nearly half price and built just as good as an oem part?

I personally think those lights make it even EASIER to confuse your car with the older style integras. . . I like the origin tails. CHROME FTW.

The ones on ebay are the three shown in "thatGuy"s post, the dark is the best, but they are illegal here, so the next option is the ones I showed, cuz I hate the chrome look.

And I was looking at clearcorners.com and it says you have to ship in the lights for them to do it, I might be reading that wrong tho??, and its a bit too much effort for me to buy some spares here, then ship them all the way to them and then ship them back to cali.

the only option I have found so far is an aussie company that will get them to me for around 150 shipped, but I dont like dealing with aussies much. :hs:

Don't worry SIK_S13, those tails I showed are illegal in the USA as well. They don't have any red reflectors in them like the OEM ones do. It's like alot of modifictions, you kinda just have to choose: Legal or Unique. So far, I'm legal. :D

If it was up to me Id just buy some tint spray and use my current tail lights, but alas the world is round and not flat. :P The stock ones really arent that bad, but I dont like the color contrast of orange and black, white and black is much cleaner :)

Update, emailed the aussie distributor, they will have to get them in stock, and there might be a seller in nz, but he has to check if he can get them in, and how much landed.

Still would love it if someone knew an american online shop that sold the ones I posted, but ya, thanks for the help anyway.

Want trick shit? the trend is to retro fit LEDs behind stock lens.. LED kits as refering to the prebuilt boards u can rip out of trucker lights etc..

When s13 Silvias are becoming ever more sought after and common I think I leave the LEDs to civics and get the "supermade" ones, they end up being around 180usd including shipping to NZ.
Still seeing if I can get them for cheaper.

Just an FYI, Origin lights are made by the company TYC.

LED kits as refering to the prebuilt boards u can rip out of trucker lights etc..

Those LEDs tend to be a few mm bigger and there isnt as many of them. The PCB probobly has alot more holes in it and alot of smaller LEDs. Like the newer Cadillac Deville tail lights, those are super LEDness, and thats how clearcorners.com does them. Superbright LEDs = expensive.
