Newby here. Just as the subject says: I got a really good deal on a full Vertex kit, but it was for a FB. but i own a coupe. is there a way to forge the rear onto a coupe? if u suggest a bodyshop, how much would be a good price?

oh, i think i misled u, it was a deal from an owner that decided he didnt want it, and i already bought it because it was so cheap. it wasnt from a dealer or anything. no i just have the problem with the rear. i dont wanna sale it, it will be too much of a hassle. just want to find a way to forge it on.

No, it won't work. Coupe is wider and longer than hatch.

#1. S13 chassis came in 3 styles: Coupe, Convertible, and Fastback. No Hatchback, that's a Civic.

#2. Fastback rear bumper is rounded below the lights where the Coupe is Straight across. Long story short: No it won't fit, Yes I'm sure a bodyshop could make it fit with enough work, but it's probably cheaper to sell it to someone with a Fastback and buy the correct bumper.

why do you keep saying "forge" it on? what you're trying to say does not mean forge. Just get a Version Select rear bumper and sell that one

he means like mold it on... not technically with bondo and molding over the lines but some kind of modification to make it fit.. forging is a process where you use pressure to compact materials tightly together.

FRpilot is right. Sorry, didn't mean to confuse any of yall. but what FRpilot said. i went around some shops here but no one seems to want to do fiberglass bodykits. Any locals here that can help me find a place? (dallas/ftworth/grand prairie/arlington/bedford)

its not worth the time and effort to make it fit your hatch. If you were closer, Id hook you up with a coupe bumper. Ive got 2 sitting on my deck at home :(

I actually do a lot of body work and custom composites...I didnt even want to do it after a test fit. just buy another and sell yours.

good luck

try autosales on pacific ave in grand praire, they might do it for u. they dont like to do fiberglass stuff, but u can try to convince them w/ a lil extra cash. but selling it would be the easiest thing.
