I used to think that when i first came on here. BUT, after being on for a couple years, you realize WHY people are like that. People come on here and ask the same stupid shit over and over and it literally takes seconds or maybe minutes(OMG!) to search and find the answer.

And the main reason I'd not want to retaliate like you is that these "know-it-alls" come in handy sometimes. You have to learn to not burn bridges.

Maybe this is why we have so many people that said they searched but they still ask a dumb question. When they search, all they get are like 9000000 threads that go from a question to a hissy fit in 2 replies. I'm not saying that's the case here, this guys a tool, but I can see how someone searching for SR20 information could come across this thread and be very confused.

it always happens because simple questions are always being asked when the question could have been easily answered by entering the key words sr, smog, legal, etc etc into the search box...

i bet itds still happen even if there was a dedicated "flame thread"

Good idea. Or mayb try the search button. I think there's a reason zilvia has it. Could be to help people find information so we don't get all these "how do I get my SR to pass smog" threads. I could be wrong, maybe it's only there for display and bling factor. Maybe your brain is there in your head for bling factor because doesn't look like it's very functional.

Well, it happens everywhere. You ever been to NASIOC.com or i-club.com? Subaru people are SUPER nice. Don't matter if you're posting a dumbass question or not. You get treated with respect. I think it's cause the subaru crowd tends to be older and more mature.

Even honda people are better than Nissan folks.. it's like Nissan drivers think they're better than everyone.
