Hey guys, I'm getting my BikiRom Megaboard engine management soon and I'm probably going to be using a wideband to tune it since the nearest dyno is over 1 hr away and def. not cheap. Anyways, I wanted to see what you guys think are good options here. basically, I want one that does the following:

-Digital display, no matter what kind (7 segment, lcd, gauge, etc.)
-datalogging (don't need long term logging, just basic short logging)
-pref. a rpm input for datalogging to make things easier
-not super expensive (def. < $500)

Thanks for the input everyone.

Innovate lm-1 or lc-1

Yep.. the innovate line are some of the best. you can log AFM voltage, rpm, and AF... should be about all you need to tune.. air and water temp are usually constant in a tuning session out on the road.

Yeah I was looking at the innovative stuff...all i really need is AF and rpm, the BikiRom software monitors all my consult data for any of my other needs...thanks a lot guys!

damn, my plx doesn't do that.. just shows A/F.. no logging for me

but how much was that plx? With the rpm logger and such, the total price is about $430 depending on where you get it. I imagine there is a noteworthy difference, but for the sake of tuning I'll probably pay the extra for logging....of course, that might not be the case depending on how soon the Bikirom wideband 02 option is available...

Personally, I've narrowed my choices down to either PLX Devices M-250 with Digital and LED Gauge or Zeitronix with LCD along with EGT and Boost sensors.
Both can be had for around $500 or less.

PLX M300 is something all of my friends and I have in our cars. Simple, and dead accurate. I use it in place of my factory 02, and use the narrowband output as source to the ECU, and wideband to the gauge.

(In my Altima for example: http://www.e-rak.com/cody/albums/album18/P1010089.sized.jpg )

PLXM500 is wireless, and also enables datalogging capabilities.

i've got the plx-300 also and it works great however their is no datalogging. tuning while stairing at the gauge sucks but i do it all the time. just make sure your on a clear long road :)
