Nistech, he stated he owns a HB or Hatchback. Why would you comment on the Coupe?

To the Thread Starter,

#1. S13's come in 3 styles. Coupe, Convertible, and Fastback. No Hatchback model. :D

#2. A spoiler is peronal preference. We can't tell you what is best for your car. Only you can make that choice.

yea spoilers are highly subjective. I love my NaVan but there are many who like park benches or no wing at all. Just pick a spoiler you like most, it's what matters the most

get a r32 gtr or kouki type x spoiler.

Or you could pick a spoiler thats actually functional. After watching a video of.... cant remember the pro drifters name he said the Type X spoiler for the fastback helped improved his traction and stability in the corners alot.

if your car doesnt produce enough power to take advantage of wing's downforce, i dont think you really need a spoiler or a wing. if you still wanna get one, its should be up to your personal discresion based on your personal taste.

this man speaks the truth. spoilers with downforce only really help when you go 100 mph, and I doubt you'll be goin 100 mph and taking corners.

'wagon' style wing? Perhaps you mean 'wangan' style.

My spoiler rules, I went to the junkyard, bought a spoilerless hatch for $30. Done.

:stupid:

my vomit tastes like the soup i just had... only with more bile. thanks a lot.

you will not notice a difference, as stated above. if you want a little style to your rear end, its really up to you. although the really small M3 style trunk spoilers are a nice accent, and are not nearly as garish as the one pictures above. i dont know about you guys but i dont even really like the type X wing...o well to each their own. :wiggle:

If you gotta have one, 180sx Type X is the way to go...IMHO

I prefer the R32 GTR spoiler on my coupe, I dont suggest you put one on a hatchback though... Look's kind of funny, but alot of people love the way my spoiler looks in person, It really gives it a unique look, I love spoilerless too, but I want my car to stand out from the rest at the same time. Online, you will always get some "iffy" comments.

I agree that spoiler is just peronal preference, i have a xenon 3 pieces spoiler on my fastback, keekee, actually, i just use it to cover the holes of my OEM wing

I agree with the GP Sports comment. Not the roof spoiler, but the 3 piece trunk wing. IMO, it looks much classier and more subtle than the OEM 180SX Type X wing.

best spoiler for under $200 is no spoiler. you must pay to play young sprout. are you doing this for looks or reasons for speeds above 70mph?? OFF TOPIC. the wing that integra type-Rs came with. produced only 2-pounds of downforce......at 186mph (wind tunnel results), in a sense the 180sx kouki won't be providing ample amounts of downforce if that's what you are searching for.
