17" spoon style rims on S14.

I just found out that there is a group buy poll in the for sale forum. I was thinking about voting for the Rota Slipstream. If we can ask rota to custom it into 17 or 18 and 8 or 9 width. I think it will be sweet !!!

I saw many  S14 and S13 put on those rims , I know they are not spoon. They are EVO from WORKS, but for the price and quality that rota offers, I think it will be a kick ass deal !!!!

ahhh yes, the regamaster evos were wonderful rims, but the purpose of the rims weren't really for looks.

But sounds like a good idea. Jup, do you have 4 or 5 lug?

I'm thinking of doing the same, but in 16" for my S14. I want to use those rims for auto-x and drag racing since they're super lightweight.

Here's TY's car from Freshalloy w/ Desmond Regamasters in gunmetal. The rota knockoffs look just like them but no where near as expensive.

Here's what 16" flat black Spoons look like. Not much different from the regas - both lightweight, expensive, and ugly. Both badass cars though:)

Im going to try to join the buy, I voted for Rota Slipstreams in silver with a matchined lip or whatever its called.

I still dont understand this trend of black/gunmetal/white wheels. Looks hella FUGLY.

I would like bronze, I did a rims match on GT3. The S14 in green looks really good with Bronze or dark gold rims.

Ahh Desmond rims...those kick ass RE Amemiya used those for a few seasons on his FD in Japan.

If you are looking for something priced decent and really a quality rim talk to your local VOLK dealer or call Mackin Industires(importer or VOLK) 562/946-6820

The now have the Gram Lite GL57C that are very inexpensive and very light rims. &nbsp;In order to compete in the US market where only price and not quality matter VOLK is starting to bring in cast rims which are cheaper to make but still watched by strict RAYS QC.

There is a Gram Lite GL57F which is forged but it's lilke a 200 price difference per rim.
