tire size will differ depending on your offset and if you have stock fenders or not.

I wish I was mario right about now...

Dunno if i could help you much on the tire size since I got a s14. I'm running 235/40 in front and 265/35 in the rear on an 18x8.5" and 18x9.5". I've seen guys run 245 on the 9.5" width wheel... looks terrible... maybe even a 235 (looks mexican style). But hopefully you got the right offset... anyway good luck.

I can't see why you didn't just go 9+ all the way around. .. . 9 up front & 9.5 in the rear. .. . better balance of traction, since you're trying to break it, you'd be better off running a spacer up front w/ 20 Over mm fenders for stronger steering stability ( don't forget to relocate the harness). .. .get some tension rods & tie rods w/ Strong ends. .. .Kazama/ Spl Parts/ Battle version. .. .Etc.

The sizes you have now: If you want that Mexicana style as MMDB put it, which I think looks beautiful on a Silvia Set properly, you should run the 235/40 rear & a 245-55 40 up front, since you have a pretty common size setup, this should provide you adequate stability. .. .or just go look at some 180's that have 18 inch setups & decide from there, I (also) own a '95 Zenki. so looks are different.

Are you serious about going 9's all around, they told me i couldn't go that size. Unless I modified the fenders. And actually I was wrong the size in the front is 8.5 and the rear is 9.5 and off set is +35 all around.
ok I figured out the front is suppose to be with 225/40 and I won't rub but the rear, people are telling me to go with 265/35 18's then it gets better hahha to go with 245/40 18's. So which is better to go with that will look hot and grip good and no rubs.

And yeah I have to do all those tie rod changes any idea, what the hell does mexican style look like??

dood I'm at 17x9 +20 all around on an s13. I'm at 215/50 front (ugh I want 215/40s) and 245/40 in the rear. Personally I want to space the fronts 10mm out further. and go 15 or 20mm spacer in the rear. You will rub with such a wide tire. In the rear go 235/40 fuck the tire guy, it will fit. A local guy runs 225/40 on 18x10.5 ce28Ns. Shit fits, it stretches. When in doubt use a BFH to make things work.

Considering your wheel sizing on an s13, i'd just go with 215/40 front and 235/40 rear and call it a day. Fwiw, i would recommend rolling your fenders. Its not hard and you cant tell from the outside that its been done. It does, however, eliminate a lot of possible rubbing issues.

does anyone else experince this problem? i have 18x10+25 in the rear with 245/35/18. and what i find odd is that i only get some tire rubbage on my passenger rear only. ive never rubbed once on the driver side. Why is that?
