Yes it is awesome. It's a fucking trip though. I'm such a wuss when it comes to Unsolved Mysteries and ghosts n shit..that fucking sends chills down my spine. This game is so far the ultimate freakiest of them all.

Yeah a lot of badfuckingass games are comming out. I've been playing HL2 since November 04.. haha Haven't stopped for more than a week. But telling you guys, this game is fucking crazy. Makes me sick to my stomach, but gotta get used to this uneasy feeling..haha

Don't give a crap. It's a great game, great story, the best gunfights ever in a video game and the creepiest moments you've ever experienced in a game. I don't care what "tuff guy" says the game didn't scare him, fighting those god damn invisible ninjas as they jump around in and out of roofing and all the blood and jumps on you, it's just insane. Plus the multiplayer isn't too bad.

Ok. DFI Lanparty update. Do not install the nvida firewall..cause it will sucks BALLS!!! Fix it Jay! hahahah
It'll cause your network adapters to not function. So I had to reformat, and reinstall. Works damn, good, thinking of overclocking it when I look more into it.

As for the game, graphics still awesome. I probably only put two hours in the game, since I had to reinstall it.

Another think with the DFI Lanparty SLi-DR is that, you need to upgarde the bios cause it doesn't support dual core. Which is a fucking bitch especially when you don't have an FDD.

I just played through the first 3 levels, or whatever you call them.There are certain points that lag with worse settings than i played Half Life 2. But overall the game is good.

Ok this is not nearly as scary as Doom3. I am judging this based upon the fact that i built my system so i would be able to run Doom3. I bought it, played through some of the first level(5 minutes or so) then i turned the monitor off and ran out of the room. I took me a couple months to gain the courage to play again. Then i pissed/shit myself getting through the next 5 or 6 levels. Then it got wayyy too crazy and i have never played it since. This game..i feel like i'm gona pass it soon cause it keeps you interested, not scared shitless.

Back on topic with the game... This game just gets under your skin, I'm pretty far right now, and freakin hell its creepy! Its like one map theres nothing scary (well not really scary) but nothing too bad... Then the next level nothing but that freakin girl crawling around and just looking at you... God damnit!! Can't wait to shove the shotgun in her mouth and boom lol. A.I. in this game is really good, I like how they take cover. Great game so far

The new 3d card is said to be as fast or faster then the latest SLI stuff... But that also means you can SLI that stuff so we're back to square 1 lol... naw but SLI isn't that top of performance wise when 70-80fps avg is more than enough.

Well. Best is really preference. If you want to max out current games you gotta go SLI, or pick up one of those DUAL process PCIE cards(SLI card in one).

But while my DFI-lanparty was working, i maxed out almost all the settings in the graphics display, and got really good results. Running the XFX 7800GT, I only saw very minal lag, if any at all. But of course, I was having problems with the system. So, I tore it down, and currently running an AMD 2000+ :(. Work okay for now...
