Hi, I was just wondering what wheel width (I'm guessing greater than a 7/7.5) and offset should I buy if I was going to flush my wheels on a 1990 240sx (Zenki/Pignose)? I'm planning on buying the "Drift Unit J Line Wheels", custom made for DU.

http://www.driftunit.com/V2/images/collectibles/collectibles_wheels.jpg

I want it to flush like DeviousKA's car (I think it's his car).

My car won't be sporting any over fenders (F & R), all OEM fenders, and i'll have that zenki front lip assembly too.

Your reply is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I can't contribute here, but I find it funny for you to use the imaginary word, "flushment," LOL. That's as funny as "gappage," hahah.

Those wheels do look like a nice choice. If you don't receive any reply soon, it's probably because there are many many threads out there where you could reference other types of wheels for sizing and fitment.

As an example, http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=82859 is the Master Guide for Buying Wheels.

Good luck!

SORRY! English is not my first language. I apologize if I'm mocking the English language by creating a word.

Limited Edition CoBranded JLine x DriftUnit 6SL2 Wheels. (2) 18x9.5+18F, (4) 18x9.5+13R, Toyo Tires 225/40/18 T1-S. I found it. Again sorry for mis-using an English word.

i've seen 17x9 +15 offset all around on a RPS13 but u'd have to camber them puppies (-2.75 in Front and -3 in the rear to clear all rubbing issues u might have)and roll your fenders too. Hope that helps. hehe take pics if u go this route i'd love to see them. =)

If they don't fit, just roll your fenders, get some camber like Image says. Honestly, rolling fenders isn't as hard, or as big a deal as most people think it is.

Thanks. I might just go with x8 then. I hope it will still have that phat lip. I jsut dunno what offset at x8.

PANGES's car has the Rota 16x8 +10 rim...I wonder what would be the offset if I go in 17 inches.

Here's how his wheels flush. F*ckin'-a nice sir!

FYI, it's a pignose too with a lip! Damn, are we sexeh.

The height of the rim will not change the offset you need.

Yep its really easy, i just did it 10 minutes ago with a propane torch and a mallet. It's not the smoothest fender roll, but it looks clean on the outside and clears my 0 offsets

Do you guys think a...

17x8 +18mm would flush?

I hope someone knows a site that will change the look of your car if you put on a wheel with different offsets. Sigh.

Btw, what will a -20mm do?

Hehe, I just don't understand the term. Here.

http://img361.imageshack.us/img361/7519/collectibleswheels26op.jpg

The blue one is the "wheel to the strut housing" and is the red one the "position of the outside edge of the wheel"?

I'm having a hard time understanding the terms...it's really giving me a headache. You goddamn fluent english people. Hehehe.

NEVERMIND!!! I FOUND IT BY SEARCHING!!!

the lower the offset the larger the the lip will be.
7" wide +40 offset = no lip
7" wide 0 offset = 2" inch or so
7" wide -20 offset = big lip but requires wide fenders.

Also, it depends on the design of the rim.

Thank you all whlo replied even the not so nice ones. Hehe.

Ok, go with my setup. since it looks like you want to stagger.

I have 17x8 +8 and 17x9 +12. Rears I had to pull a little bit and I'm running 225/40/17
Fronts I have 215/40 17.

I want to run an addition about 3-5 mm in the front and rears, if you were sticking with stock body, I'd probably go about 17x9 +20 with a 215/40 or 225/40.

Definately will need to roll fenders tho depending on how low you want to go.
Sorry can't find any flushness pictures right now but if PM me, I'll be sure to get you some.

NO I was searching the whole time even before I posted it. It jsut took me awhile to read each post. I already told you! I"m having a HARD TIME understanding each SENTENCE YOU GUYS MAKE. WHY DO I ALWAYS HAVE TO SAY THAT I CANT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH THAT MUCH, AND EACH TERM AND WORD THAT YOU USE IS SOMETIMES (MSOT OF THE TIME), NEW TO ME. I HOPE YOU GO TO ANOTHER COUNTRY AND TRY TO SPEAK THEIR LANGUAGE. I HOPE IT GOES EASY FOR YOU. YOU THINK IM JOKING AROUND BY SAYING I DONT UNDERSTAND THIS AND THAT? I seriously hope that you don't look at people who can't understand english that much not funny. If you think it's funny, just think it's funny on me and not other people. At leat I can still take the shit when people laugh at how I understand things.

Hi. Yes, I have stock fenders and I won't add any aerokit whatsoever. Will it clear coilovers?

then i think you're the ONLY person that would ever get the joke in my sig. i've had it forever.

anyway, i think the word "Flushment" is fucking perfect, and should be used instead of "flush fitment" in every case ever. :rawk:
