Short of going with an actual vertex kit, is version:select pretty much the best fitting and quality kit out there among the lesser priced ones? I have heard origin stuff is brittle and not always well fitting. Can anyone with experience comment on this? I am also looking to do +20 or +30 front s14 fenders as well, if not v:s than who would you guys reccommend for fenders. Thanks for the help.

There is no +30 front over fenders for 240s, only +20 and +40 (40 is dmax and not too sure on availability here).
I have Origin all around, and vs 20mm front 30mm real. And I have put on version select on an s13 silvia.
Both fit well, both required minor trimming, but in general all kits will, I could give a rats ass what vertex people say, but 10-15 year old cars will not have the exact dimensions as when they rolled out and WILL require some modifications.
My car has been through a lot, A LOT! And I only had to do some minor things to make it fit right.
So to answer your Q both Origin and vS fit good. I see no evidence of origin being any weaker, I put mine through a lot of driving while slammed on 15s and it still is good.

As for the other info, thanks for the help, good to know.

I have the Origin sytlish kit + front wide fender. Fitment is great, but still it's best to take it to a professional. That was my first time installing aftermarket aero, and definately wont be my last.
