thanks for the tip, but im looking for the reverse indiglo gauges. i saw the ones you're talking about on ebay. they're pretty sweet, but i just like the reverse ones better. oh well, thats what i get for trying to save $20. i gotta shell out $70 for em now.

the best way to do business with someone you have'nt meet
or is not opperating as an incorporated business is to have them send it C.O.D.. Now if they don't trust you to pay the C.O.D. just send them a copy of the money order for the exact amount they requested.(fax it,mail it, what ever)
them once they send the C.O.D. fax them a copy of the C.O.D
made out in there name if that helps. DONT SEND MONEY FIRST UNLESS THEY ARE OPPERATING AS A BUSINESS OR CORP.

Thats not true, most of the people here selling stuff are very honest and will not rip you off. I personally have sold thousands of dollars of worth of parts both here and on ebay and not had a sinlge complaint and i know that is the way most people here are.
What i would do if you are dealing with someone you dont know and may be questionable is ask them for some references or check their ebay feedback if they sell parts that way as well.

if youre really worried about it, have someone escrow the item for you.
an escrow is when a neutral third party accepts both payment and the item, and makes sure that the payment is of the amount desired and the item is in the condition described, and then forwards each to their respective party.
at elitecaraudio.com, i occasionally provide this service to members since I have over 4,500 posts and have been there 4 years.
other forums sometimes use moderators as escrows or members who are otherwise reputable.
I dont know if there is someone on this board who would be trustworthy and willing to do a similar service, but it provides assurance beyond a shadow of doubt that you will receive what you want.
the only downside is that you must pay to ship to the escrow man, and pay for him to ship to the recipient, and it adds time to the transaction.
for larger items (subwoofer boxes, or, in this case, rims, hoods, or body kits and the like) shipping becomes cost prohibitive.

i usually ask for ref's, but he didnt have any so i figured id trust him since ive done business with other people from this board & you were all honest sellers so i just took the risk since it was only $50. actually he just emailed me earlier today claiming that he's been having problems & he finally sent the gauges recently. whether or not this is true, ill have to wait & see. if i actually do get the gauges then ill post again to let you guys know. thanks for the tips fellas.
