i used the search parameters " 300zx transmission, 300zx transmission adapter, and 300zx transmission conversion" on here and google and came up with nothing of help. Putting a 300zx transmission on a ka24 has been done before right? i dont think i just imagined something like that...if someone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

edit* actually i found some info saying i just need to swap the bellhousing on the 300zx na transmission so if a mod could delete this

Try FreshAlloy, where people actually mod their cars. lol

One cat recently adapted a Z32 mission to his car, and he's now organizing a group buy for a kit that includes all the necessary parts to make it work.

the twin turbo transmission? if so that would be even better

i tried creating an account on fresh alloy but when i click to sign up i keep getting a "server can not be found" message...eh oh well ill try back later...

They are putting a kit together for the Z32 TT engine into the KA as a complete kit including a higher stall torque converter.

From what I was lead to believe turbo and non turbo trannys are the same

must be for high power drag applications ill check it out though see if they offer a 5speed kit and yeah i did some reading tt and na missions are the same its just that 94+ have dual synchros on 1st thru 3rd

yeah ive been checkin the thread on fresh alloy and the last post by mark was on oct 11. i was wary about calling though since i figured i should direct any question to you or mark (i would need the ka kit)

Well in that case just keep an eye on the thread as we should have some more concrete answers soon. I have asked about the ka setup and he is willing to do it. And since all that should be required is a second adaptor plate it shouldn't take long.

they are all about some automatics over there ill think ill just wait till mazworx comes out w/his, ill keep checking just in case though

im pretty sure he will make whatever is needed for a manual as well...
