Today is probably the worst day in a long time. On the way to school, driving my sister and friend, my 240 fishtailed while making a left hand turn after a stop light. Luckily, there was only minor damage compared to what could have happened. Somehow, there is no body damage and the rim looks fine even though I hit the curb from the front passenger side going between 20-25 mph. From initial looks, the rim is scratched and the tie arm is seriously bent. The car was going to the shop Tuesday to have the headers, high flow catalytic convertor, catback exhaust, fuel pump, fuel management, and a new rear driver's side power window motor. It is being towed there today, so it will be a few days early and thus I expect to have it back Thursday or Friday of next week. Things I learned: I thought my 240 handled like shit with more than 2 people in it. From now on I refuse to carry more than 2 people in it. Also, wait till the road is totally clear to make turns so I can go slow. Hopefully everything will turn out good at the shop though, for this was a big wake up call for driving.

The good news is I just got AAA so I used it the first week I had it, free towing to the shop. The initial report was just a bent A-arm. What should I expect $$$ wise?

I know what you're going through man...I don't go fast in the 240 when i have someone in the back seat. It just doesn't feel right around the corners...

hey, don't worry, 1st ur going to hit a curb, than you are going to hit a center divider and pop your tire, than you are going to crash your car into a useless cylinder infront of the mountain.
at lease that's wha's happening to me...

I had something like this happen to me in the rain when i first bought my 240 <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> slick roads and old tires are a bitch
I had my right rear control arm get bent up really bad and the local nissan dealer charged around 150 dollars for it. I would have found one from a junk yard, but every single one i found was bent. I fixed it myself so all it cost was the parts and alot of cursing. Good luck on your problem

Hey i have had 2 accidents already so dont feel bad.I hit a no parking sign when it was slick out side and a piece went into my windshield and stopped thanks to safty glass. Then i found my lower control arms were bent and had those replaced as well. Then when it was wet again i rear ended some guy in a old honda civic.
