Ok here is a little reminder to you guys out there still running the stock squishy TC bushings, Change them. OMG what a difference. I replaced these with ProThane units only 20.00 + shipping. Best 20 buck you could spend. I know "I should go with adjustable with the Heim joint." Right now these will do, and it was such a huge difference. Only took about an hour to install, with "shade tree" tools. Realy complements the Nismo Power brace to, way nicer feel turning in.
So if ya havent done it do it, If your thinking about it do it.

Ok Here goes... I did this at my house, I was too lasy to go down to the shop and use all the cool tools...
Install was realy strait forward. Remove the front tension rod by taking off the two 17mm nuts under the front control arm. they are torqued to like 80fp so have a good 1/2 drive rachet or a breaker bar. Then remove the bolt from the tension arm bracket. The bolt head is 17mm as wellas the nut, also torqued to 80fp.
Now the fun begins. I used a drift and two blocks of wood to drive out the old bushings. They came out without a problem. Now when putting in your new bushings use the lube that it comes with. lube the inside of the tension arm and the outside of the bushing. I used a bar clamp to press the new bushings in. With the bushing lubed up they press right in.
Now reinstall the arm just as you removed them. Make sure to lube the bushing, and the bolt before installing, or the might squeek.I recomend lining up the two studs on the arm before putting the bolt through the bushing. I used some blue Lock Tite and retorqued the bolts to 80fp.
As for the difference...Wow You do not have the delay while your soft squishy worn out bushing compress when turning in. Responce is much tighter, and quicker. I have not noticed any more road noise like with TC rods with the Heim joint end. Not that I do not like the adjustable TC rods this was a quick inexpencive fix when I installed my Power brace. It was well worth the money and the time to do it.

I felt exactly the same way when I replaced mine with just new stock T/C rods, I got them for free so I just replaced them, felt 100x's better, than the worn shit

next you should go for front LCA bushings, and even the steering rack bushings. it makes the front feel so solid. these are my plans in the coming months

I got them from an E-Bay store, Pacific auto toys. Dude is way cool, his name is Kenneth Tamashiro. I e-mailed him because I wanted the black, but all he had was red. Took 5 days to get here. Hawaii to Cali. Seven bucks shipping. Well worth it. As for the Power brace I built it, so yes it was worth it.
