Can someone tell me wether those will work with my '97 S14 that does not have LSD? I have heard that the hubs are different for non-LSD models.

I would think they should be fine, possibly the half-shafts are different, but I don't think so. I included them anyways though. Actually I inculded em because I didnt have the time to or know how to take em off.
But if you need them, they're there. I dont see what else could be different between an LSD and non-LSD model.

Anyone else know for sure??

I'm up in Troy, NY. Its right by Albany.
If someones close to here or would be willing to pick them up it would be a hell of a lot easier for me and cheaper for them.
As for the price, just check out the auction. ive had a lot of people asking me about these, so I dont plan on removing them from ebay.

hey gfisch,
its me again... i was wondering if you still have those rear control arm things... they are the two control bars up on top (on the rear of the car). and also the front piece that holds the front strut. Please let me know if you still have those and how much you would want for those pieces. thanks

I'm really not positive which parts you are talking about.
Do you have a picture you could show em on?
By control bars do you mean theses parts that I have on the hubs?

And for the front, the struts bolt directly to the frame and to the hubs, which piece are you looking for?

ok for the rears.... its the ones that is on the picture.... the top two arms....
and for the front.. i cant remember.. i have to look at it again..... but it looks kinda like a clamp.... the piece that is on the bottom of the strut.. there piece has 2 bolts that hold the strut.

You mean the ones at the bottom of these??

http://www.rpi.edu/~fischg/240sx/front_shocks.jpg
I think they are actually welded onto the shock unit. Dont think they come off. If you want the whole thing shock/strut, lemme know.

yeah... but if its welded.... how do people change the strut?
So how much for the ones in the rear

Hmm, good question, maybe they're not. They are definately on there real good though. i think they must be because they have to be attached tightly so they woulddnt slide and i dont see any other bolts that hold it. I really havent looked into swapping the front struts before, might want to ask someone about that who has done it before.

You mean how much for the rear struts?
How 'bout $40 for each pair, front or rear. Or $70 for all four. plus shipping.

I thought the Rear hubs from the S14 didn't work on the S13 and you had to use 300zx rear hubs???

gfisch

I dont know, i thought they would and i have heard that they do fit from some people.
Hpefully someone here that has done t on an S13 can give us a definite answer.

OK, well I have them included in the auction, but I dont think they are really necessary for the swap. So I'll ask whoever wins if they really want those parts and if not I'll pull em off for you.

thats only if you want to use the z32 rear brakes and get the ebrake to work you would need the z32 hubs.

i have s14 rear hubs on my s13

and the clips on the strut for the brake lines are attached to the struts when you buy new struts they are on there i have kybs and they coem with them those are welded in the struts they are not replaceable
