ok 3 weeks ago i try to order a set of street coilovers from megan racing, there back ordered. ok tahts understandable. they claim they will ship them on friday. NEVER HAPPENS. by this point they stop returning my emails. so finally on monday they claim they will be out the next day but guess what NOPE. there was a "shipping error" as they call it. so they say that if i wait until next tuesday and we pay express they will ship it 2day. by now i jsut want my car back on the road so i accept. the next day i check my tracking to find taht those f***ers turned it around to ground shipping and took my extra cash. consequently i dont recieve my coilovers until next monday. screw them im going back to tein, its worth the extra cash. please save yourself the troubel and dont deal with megan. IVE HAD BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM RANDOM EBAY SELLERS.

this is not a grievance board.

i understand your frustration, but verbally abusing a manufacturer on a forum will not get your problem resolved.

the part was backordered, but you decided to accept the wait.

businesses run into problems very often, it happens. if there is a back order on a part, the company may look at their manifest and it might say its coming on friday. then maybe the trucking company comes late or maybe the coilovers were packed in the back of the container, and the staff couldn't unload an entire 40 footer in one day. maybe friday was their inventory count day, there's a lot of unforseeables in this market and in any business that a customer needs to be more understanding about.

its a two way street. if you treat a business with respect and understanding, the business will do the same in return.

i'm sure that if you call megan and calmly explain the situation, they will refund you the difference in shipping. you never know, i'm sure your order was shipped in between a lot more orders, so maybe the shipping guy forgot to check a box while printing the shipping label. it happens.

in the long run patience always will get you further, and that goes both ways, in the eyes of the seller and consumer.

the price of the product and quality has no bearing on their shipping.

this has and could happen to any company, no matter their size, location, or reputation.
