Recently got a new computer with a DVD burner and was wondering what's the best program to use if I wanted to burn vids on my computer onto a DVD. I'm pretty new to this, so I have no idea what to look for first. I have a crap load of Family Guy and Initial D episodes I'd like to store on a DVD and watch on my DVD player.

TIA

normally whenever i burn dvds' i convert them to the correct format, then usually burn them using nero.

nero is the program. vob file extension is the file that regular dvd players will read.

Ok, I have Nero now. So I just convert *.avi files into *.vob files and I should be able to play it on my DVD? I'll give it a try.

Nero will do it for you. Just open up the Nero browser, select make new DVD, then choose the files.

i use this program for burning.
to convert avi, then the program will convert automatically.

btw. regular vcd/dvd players might not be able to read the disk....
