This is the build up of the GroundZeroMotorsports.com Drift car. I am coming into the game with a KA unlike most of the 240s in the drift scene well that are in competition. I dont want this to turn into a KA vs SR thread beacause i like both motors. I started on this car about 5 months ago and i have come pretty far thanks to alot of people helping me out and the fellow mechanics at GroundZeroMotorsports.com. I will post updates and specs within the next few days. When i have free time at the shop.

-Roll Cage Pics-

Here are some pics of the cage we just finished here at the shop. I am in the process of getting the car ready for D1 in December and going to DriftShowoff in San Fran, On the 15th of this month... Just posting some progress pics!

that exhaust hangs incredibly low for being just a straight pipe.. and shouldnt you have gutted it BEFORE you put the cage in? headliner, rear paneling, tar, sun visors etc...just making more work for yourself *shrug*

i dont undestand why you put the gauges so low. u can even see them when u driving. put that shit on the dash. unless they are warning gauges

Ricks is a drag car, BJ's is a drift car. He's been doing very well too.

"that exhaust hangs incredibly low for being just a straight pipe.. and shouldnt you have gutted it BEFORE you put the cage in? headliner, rear paneling, tar, sun visors etc...just making more work for yourself *shrug*"

Exaust if you notice its not hooked up to anything-
Interior i dont want to gut it, Ii like it clean and simple so I will just keep the extra 8 lbs or so worth of
plastic , also i like being able to still use my sunvisors-

"i dont undestand why you put the gauges so low. u can even see them when u driving. put that shit on the dash. unless they are warning gauges"

I see them just fine its just boost and I already watch that on the AVCR thats Next to my steering wheel-

And i Data log most of the runs, so I only care about seeing Oil Pressure and water temp-

Its built how i like it suits me just fine.

Also the car never was a drag car always has been a drift car. I have 10 of the intake manifold's forsale same with the turbo Manifolds. $575 for the intake manifold and $800 for the KA turbo manifold the SR ones are still in development.

Not sure if it's just the pic, but it looks like the sun visors are not an option with the cage in place.

So far it looking great, if it's going to be your competition car you might as well gut the rest of it out.

Including the sun visors as you probably already know hehe.

The sun visors work fine and i am going to compete in this car, Interior and all. The exaust is a GroundZero Prototype.

I highly doubt it, I have the Buddy Club Spec II exhaust on my RB powered s13 and if anything the exhaust does not hang low at all. Its actually a very good ground clearance exhaust that clings to the underside of your car. :D
I must add its a great track exhaust.

As he stated before, the exhaust is NOT bolted up, that's why it hangs so low, as for brand...I'll leave that up to him.

The turbo is a GT30R with a Smaller exaust housing. I get full boost at 2800 to 3000 RPM at 10 PSI the car put down 290 at the wheels. With the new houseing i should have boost at 2500. Like i stated we built the exaust it looks like a greddy DD. There are no mufflers just a 3inch cat after the downpipe that is 3inch also.
