so i put 1 can of seafoam in the engine oil, and one through the brake booster.. i let it run for 30 or so minutes till most of the smoke dissipated, changed my oil, and im still getting smoke after the oil change. is it safe to run my car now... or.. should i change my oil again or is this gonna happen naturally... ive done seafoam in my KA before, but i cant remember haha.

after the smoke dissappeared on mine after idling, then i drove around smoke was still coming out, i guess after i drove for a bit it went away, but at that time i didn't put seafoam in my oil

the seafoam in the oil won't do that.... that only happens when the seafoam travels through the intake tract and fuel system to be combusted. Is it black smoke? if it is its just burning off carbon residue... if its another color like bluish its the thin oil getting past the rings, which should go away after awhile. Just don't drive the car hard.

what you should have done was bought some cheap flush oil... flush the car as many times as needed then put in the good stuff.
but all is well just keep an eye on it.

Yay! First post for me!
Anywho, it should be fine. If i understood correctly, you put 1 whole can in the crank case, and 1 whole can thru the booster line? I'm sure you already know this, but they recommend that you use 1 can divided into thirds (1/3 in crank, 1/3 in gas tank, 1/3 thru brake booster line). When i first seafomed my S14, i didnt read that, and did it in halves (1/2 in oil, 1/2 thru booster line). It smoked a little bit for for the rest of the day, just b/c i used a bit too much. That may have been your problem - u just put too much in. Which isnt bad, but it'd explain the massive quantities of smoke.

Hmm. i dunno, about a month after I seafoamed my 240 it started smoking and it never stopped. Hahahah it still "fogs mosquitos" but is running more top notch than ever? odd...
