NOT THIS KIND OF STORKER :wackit: you pervs

Does any one know if any other nissan engines' Rods, crank, and pistion, can be used to effectivle increase the stroke to 2.5 or 2.6 ltr?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

... and this is the "race" rod:

... please make note of the 6.4mm difference in the length of the rods.

lol them gt3 motors aint no joke u can tach them out to 8k straight....very durable motors....

ok, so how would i calcuate the diference in the stroke of the engine by using these parts?

well the thing is that, im taking an engine machining class at my school, at DE anza and over this course of a yea im allowd to bring in my own project.

Those Nissan motorsports rods aren't to increase stroke, but to raise rod/stroke ratio, letting the engine rev higher safer.

You're better off de-stroking a KA than stroking it. But to each their own. Try a newer sentra SE-R block/internals maybe.

The KA is closer related to older Nissan engines like the L and Z series blocks.

yea thats why i though it to be possible to use some of the older components to increase displacment, the reason behind the increase in displacment would be to acompany a turbo.

No, you can't use any older components to raise displacement. The KA has the biggest stroke they ever got.

You can probably lower the stroke using Z22 cranks and whatever, but I don't think anyone has had enough time on their hands to actually try this.

long enough to win a race.. and we did... anyways its got more hours then a rotary race motor... those things last only 10 hrs... so....

3.0 is attainable in a KA, takes a 60,000 overbore, ~.2L stroker kit, custom everything else. Was gonna do this to my KADE, but there is big time $$$ involved.

LOl ill let u guys think it over..if u guys think those numbers are impressive u should see the NA form... only few ppl know what motor is in my sig... but honestly since when did building a race engine involve with long time use... and to answer the question, we= the team i work for now..

Whatever engine you guys are using it definately isn't a KA. I'm thinking something along the lines of a Z22 engine punched out a considerable amount. Maybe a L20 out of a 510.
