i'm looking at buying a motor on sunday. it hasnt been compression checked in awhile, and we dont have the stuff to do it with. is there a chance the compression could have changed if it's been sitting since march? it's been in the packaging skid and everything. the guy said he's pretty sure the last time someone checked, it was 180 across the board. how's that sound?

march wasn't that long ago.. im sure my motor was sitting in japanland for years before its pistons were moving again. I compression tested mine 160 for all 4. 180... i dunno if they are supposed to be that high, but anways as long as the numbers are consistant from cylinder to clyinder ur straight.

thanks! i've posted it up on a few other forums and no one replied, ugh.
yeah, they're consistant according to this guy. he said the compression is higher cause it has a smaller head gasket. ermmm? weird? eh, whatever. we'll see how it goes!
