ok my current setup has no BOV just a lil wastegate. i know im risking damage but there seems to be a few respectable drivers running w/o BOVs. plus i think the response is better... i think. right now all i have is the line from the wastegate attached to the hot pipe. the bigger line on the TB is just connected to the can right now. is there a better way to do this? can i T off the lines from the TB and the hotpipe to the wastegate? thanks

its fine. Pressure is all the same in an open chamber, however it may vary for a fraction of a second when u start to spool up but for the most part your fine.
btw, wastegate and bov do different tasks. BOV prevents compressor surge while all a wastegate does is control how much boost you run. I'd recommend a BOV if your running higher than stock boost not that its ok to run no bov on 7 psi. That "choo cho cho ch" sound when u release the throttle is compressor surge. I had my BOV hooked up to the wrong vac source (the nipple below the TB...) for months and months and of course i was compressor surging 14psi. I thought i had the coolest sounding BOV lol. But now my turbo is dying...

i run 1 bar..been maybe 6 months no bov no problem
my friends 400+ HP Rb25 rns no bov no problem (almsot 1.5-2 yrs now)
friend w/ mildly upgraded sr w/ no bov for about 3 years or more
friends 400+ SR runs no bov, no bov, regulary tracked hard (FD)
anyways
for vacuum hose off the top of my head..
i have greddy profec b too
one hose go to the wastegate, one to under throttle body
and i think htats it.
one of the other off the TB goes to boost gauge
and the other is blocked off.
i cant recall (off top of my head) any other hoses flying around
yep, bov is just a safty gemik. i've been telling people years about that.
one vac line from the cold or hot pipe to the wastegate. then one line off the TB to the FPR. that's pretty much it. You probably got rid of all your emission crap??

yeah no emmission anything... im in cali and the pigs here are getting trained on how to spot an illegal swap. gotta pay to play... ok so this is what my Vac lines look like... on TB, top skinny line to FPR (not T'd, no boost guage yet), bottom skinny one to canister, large line to canister. on hot pipe goes straight to the wastegate. soo... why does my boost feel like its cutting off (hard) at 4k rpm? very noticeable. thanks again you guys.
