I got an All stock Kade and it doesnt start:

The starter seems to be going, and the clutch fan spins, but it just doesnt turn over, and it doesnt sound like a car normaly does when it starts it just whines.

THe car is 5-speed and we can kick start it just fine the car runs like a champ.

We changed the starter with a brand new one today and still nothing. We tested the coil and spark plug wires and we are getting spark. Any ideas?

this happened with my friends old truck.. ended up being dirty/corroded battery terminals.. try cleaning them..

the thing is the car used to start just fine but it seems to have developed this problem out of no where. I'll check the timing and some other stuff today and see whats up

Should I be looking at electrical problems to fix it? Cause it runs fine when its kick started, other then a low idle

If it runs fine when you "kick start it", then it is very likely to be a connection issue. Start at the battery terminals and clean them well with some mild sandpaper or steel wool. Use gloves because of the lead terminal (lead dust is toxic). And as others have suggested, check all your grounds.

EDIT: Just noticed your are in the Islands,,,, all the more reasong to have a corrosion problem where current carrying wires are connected. And pick up a good dielectric grease and apply that on your connections. This prevents micro
arcing and oxidation buildup at the battery terminal

But your battery terminals are usually the culprit.

If you "kick start" your car you have bigger problems...First of all it's push start, and you most liekly have problems with your battery, battery cables to the starter (Ground or Power) or you have a starter problem.

If you can push start the car and it runs fine why would you be checking the spark plugs and such, just pointless...
