i was wondering if the reason my jdm cluster doesn't work is because i'm running a stock wireing harness on my 89 hatchback

Are you using it with the ka24e?

mine works fine but mine is a 93 hatch and i have a sr20 but i dont think the motor matters so cheak the wiring/fuse...

Why would he 'cheak' it? What does that do?

Tach won't work in a SOHC, everything else should. Make sure all the plugs are tight.

i haven't checked to see if the speedo works, the tach jumps when i turn the car on and then it goes back to zero. yeah i'm running a single cam ka24e for now but i have an sr20 in my parts caah. also my usdm speedo works fine

There you have it. Swap the SOHC tach back in for now.

$700 is cheap already. I would never go cheap on a saftey cage since it's going to protect my life and all...
