the r34 rb25 from gt-t puts out 276hp i believe. And its basically the same motor, different internals.

yeah just to clarify,
R33 RB
side feed injectors
250HP
single step valve timeing
R34RB
Soild lifters
top feed injectors
270HP
Extra power comes from the continously variable timing
that's about as far as i have found

Neo's cost more, if your just going for a powerful stock setup a NEO is not a bad way to go. If you want to get equal or more HP and save initially then a R33 RB will be a lot more affordable. I happen to like the NEO a lot. I happen to own a R33 RB. Bottom line is NEO'S are rarer and usually harder to get and usually more expensive. a R33 RB clip costs anywhere from $2500-3500 a NEO clip will usually run you upwards of 4k and above. Its up to you. Maybe you might find a deal . People do sometimes.
In the end either way you get great power.

well i may have a line on a dirt cheap neo in the surrounding area that i could check out. less that a R33 front clib, but i was talking to some other RB guys and they said that neo performance parts in the US are non exsistant. and i have yet to find any after a week or searching it up. not even phase 2 has neo stuff.
